This is the third numbered version of Översteir. 1.0 was the original one, deployed in April 2020; 1.1.0 was the second, including the declension tool, fixes and improvements, deployed in October 2020.
Since 1.1.0, not much. This release mostly sets a milestone to consolidate various fixes, and introduces a few tweaks that are not obvious to the user, but are needed in preparation to 1.2.
So don't be excited for 1.1.1, be excited for 1.2.
Syllabification and pronounciation guides (IPA and anglo "fauxnetics")! You'll be able to click on any Talossan result or generated word (eg. from the conjugator) and bring up an interface that will let you know how that word is pronounced.
You can already take a peek at 1.2's current development status in the beta version of Översteir!
The big thing is for sure taking the IPA and fauxnetics we already have working and get speech synthesis working.
Filtered search by part of speech needs to happen at some point.
Lots of small tweaks to the interface.
Great, tell us all about it! There's a link right below the Översteir's box to submit this sort of stuff, and you can directly contact either Lüc da Schir or Marcel Tafial on Wittenberg or Discord.
